Eight part series created by Cash Carraway, starring West Country screen talent Daisy May Cooper alongside Fleur Tashjian in her debut role. A wild and punky tale of a mother’s love for her daughter, of deep-rooted and passionate friendships, and of brilliance thwarted by poverty and prejudice.

Made by award-winning production company Sid Gentle Films (Killing Eve) from its development and production arm Sid Wild, which opened at The Bottle Yard in 2022.

Production headquarters were based at the Studios, where sets for a Peep Show and apartment interiors were built.

Bristol Film Office supported the shoot at a wide range of Bristol locations which doubled for London where much of the storyline is set. 78 locations were used throughout the production period. Only two days were spent in London – everything else was filmed in Bristol and the South West.
