Alex Rider (Series 3)
Series three of teen spy-thriller Alex Rider, based on Anthony Horowitz’s bestselling novels and starring Otto Farrant, was one of the first productions to film at The Bottle Yard’s TBY2 facility when it opened in late 2022. It follows a teenager who, unbeknownst to him, has been trained for the dangerous world of espionage since he was a child.
Studio sets were built for a major local landmark’s roof and smaller settings for VFX shots. Bristol Film Office welcomed the team back to the city’s A Bond Warehouse where sets for MI6 division ‘The Department’ were built, as they had been for Series Two. Numerous other Bristol locations also doubled for London and Malta during the six-month shoot.
