Eight-part series starring West Country talent Daisy May Cooper alongside Fleur Tashjian in her debut role. A wild and punky tale of a mother’s love for her daughter, of deep-rooted and passionate friendships, and of brilliance thwarted by poverty and prejudice.
Made by award-winning production company Sid Gentle Films (Killing Eve) from its regional arm Sid Wild, which is based at The Bottle Yard. Production HQ was based at the Studios where sets for a Peep Show and apartment were built. Bristol Film Office assisted with a host of city locations doubling for London where much of the storyline is set. 78 locations were used in total, with all but 2 days of filming taking place in Bristol and the South West.
