All Set West is a BFI-funded, accessible skills package designed to support diverse talent from the West of England into scripted film and TV production careers in the region. It includes: the All Set West Hub. an inclusive digital platform connecting entrants with opportunities, events and resources to support first steps in the screen industry; All Set West Training delivered at The Bottle Yard Studios to equip entrants with 'set-ready' skills before connecting them to placements on active productions where possible; Outreach engagement with educators and communities to demystify the industry and widen awareness of film/TV careers, and; Research into regional skills gaps to inform future workforce development strategy.
All Set West is funded by the BFI National Lottery Places Fund and delivered by Bristol City Council's Film Services (The Bottle Yard Studios, Bristol UNESCO City of Film and Bristol Film Office) in partnership with the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
