Figure Nine is a rope access and rigging company, operating globally to provide rope access, rigging and safety support. We have experience in remote, urban, industrial and studio environments, and extensive experience working in tropical forests.
Figure Nine is an approved provider for the BBC Natural History Unit. Most recently we have worked on the ‘Jungles’ episode of BBC One’s Planet Earth II, BBC Two series Mexico and BBC One special, Attenborough and the Giant Sea Dragon. For each of these we provided safety for camera operators and crew and/or rigging solutions for camera moves.
Figure Nine was created from 15 years’ diverse experience. Our services include cable dolly rigging, location safety at height and near water, rigging for movement of persons and cameras, lifting and lowering, positioning and safety of camera operators, safety and rescue cover. We are able to provide a doctor or paramedic with notice.
We are trained in pre-hospital care to first responder level and hold MIRA (Medicine In Remote Areas) and PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) First Responder certificates. We are IRATA and swift water rescue trained. We are also able to supply teams of qualified rope access technicians for building works or safety for contractors working at height.
