Grab your gizmos and hold onto your hats – children’s TV favourite Andy Day is back at The Bottle Yard Studios to make a new series, Andy’s Safari Adventures!

Produced by the BBC’s world-renowned Natural History Unit, Andy’s Safari Adventures is a co-commission from CBeebies in the UK and BBC Worldwide for the international CBeebies channels.

Filming of the 40 x 14 min episodes began on 6th March and will continue for 13 weeks.

Fiona Francombe, Site Director of The Bottle Yard Studios, said: “We’re thrilled to have the team back at the Studios for Andy’s Safari Adventures. This is outstanding kids TV, expertly made by the world-leading Natural History Unit using the best in Bristol talent and companies. We developed our green screen studio to suit the team’s needs for the last series, so it’s great to have the team back on site picking up where they left off for this new show – which promises to be another feast for the eyes!”

Andy’s Safari Adventures is made using the latest digital CGI and green screen technology with footage from the BBC’s archive. The production team is filming in our M3 Green Screen studio, using the giant purpose built green screen measuring 80ft x 40ft m x 27ft.

Andy’s Safari Adventures is a continuation of the highly popular strand which comprises Andy’s Wild Adventures, Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures and last year’s BAFTA-nominated Andy’s Prehistoric Adventures.
