The new series of Trollied, made at Bristol’s Bottle Yard Studios earlier this year, will begin tonight on Sky1 HD at 8.30pm.

Produced by Roughcut TV, the fourth series of the supermarket comedy filmed at the Studios for seven weeks in June/July 2014. Trollied was one of the first productions to call The Bottle Yard home in 2011 when it constructed a purpose built, full scale supermarket set on-site for its first series. It went on to return to The Bottle Yard in 2012 and 2013 to shoot series two and three, building three smaller sets and a full Production Village, including dressing rooms, make up and costume facilities.

Head of Production at Roughcut TV, Tim Sealey, said: “Coming back to The Bottle Yard is an easy decision, the facilities are excellent and we are always very well looked after, all of which makes my job a lot easier!”

Fiona Francombe, The Bottle Yard Studios’ Managing Director said: “After four years of shooting with us, Trollied have established a real home with us here at The Bottle Yard Studios. It’s always exciting to see their elaborately realistic supermarket on TV screens with each new series. We hope to welcome them back again soon!”

Stephen Tompkinson (Wild at Heart), Bafta®-winning actress Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter), Jack Carroll (Britain’s Got Talent) and Aisling Bea (Edinburgh Fringe So You Think You’re Funny Award) join Trollied cast regulars Jason Watkins, Rita May, Carl Rice, Beverly Rudd, Lorraine Cheshire, Faye Mckeever, Victor McGuire and Dominic Coleman, for the new series.
