1. Who are you and what do you do?

I am Martin Peters, Director of Grip Services Ltd. We are a well-established grip equipment and Camera Tracking Vehicle Company based in the South West and Wales providing equipment and tracking vehicles to various productions including Casualty, Dr Who, Sherlock, Stella, Casual Vacancy, Wolf Hall to name but a few.

2. What do you like about being based at The Bottle Yard Studios?

We moved to the Bottle Yard Studios a couple of years ago having outgrown our previous premises.

The Bottle Yard is an ideal place to be based for the obvious reason of being on the doorstep to provide any resident filming production with either grip equipment or camera tracking vehicles. The Bottle Yard is perfectly situated to access the many locations the south West and Wales has to offer.

3. How’s business?

Our business has become increasingly busier since we moved here. We have a much larger range of tracking vehicles and we are going from strength to strength.

4. What’s your favourite thing about working in film and TV production?

I have been working in the industry for over 20 years but still enjoy the buzz of challenges faced with every day and coming up with new ideas. My motto is ‘Never any problems, only solutions’
