The Bottle Yard Studios hosted the meeting of the British Film Commission‘s National Advisory Board yesterday, welcoming leading representatives from the UK’s film & TV industry on to site.

The Board, which comprises commercial, public and central government partners, meets three times a year in different jurisdictions around the UK to discuss BFC and film/TV industry strategy; to keep members abreast of BFC activities; and to address issues which impact the success of film and TV inward investment in the UK.  Previous meetings have taken place in Glasgow, Cardiff, London and Manchester.

BFC’s Head of Production UK Samantha Perahia said “As a key UK production hub, we were very keen to host a meeting in Bristol. And, as The Bottle Yard Studios are a key sponsor of the British Film Commission, it made perfect sense to approach Fiona about hosting the last meeting of 2017 at the studios.”
