Six-part comedy starring Dawn French, Mark Heap, Craig Roberts and Mandip Gill. Widow Debbie Fendon (French) will stop at nothing to make sure her family’s protected. When her hermit-like husband unexpectedly dies, she makes an outlandish decision that will put the family under more pressure than ever before.
Production was based at The Bottle Yard whilst filming took place predominantly in Somerset with Film Office support, at locations including Axbridge and Cheddar. The Studios hosted sets for the loft room interiors of the Fendon’s family home, and also Back Projection using an action vehicle for driving scenes.
