We are delighted to see that Down Cemetery Road (60Forty Films for Apple TV+) has won this year’s Planet Positive Award at the 15th British Film Designers Guild (BFDG) Awards.
Recognising the wealth of talent that exists within film and television Production Design, the annual BDFG Awards took place at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, London on 28th February 2026.
The Planet Positive Award was created in association with BAFTA albert and is awarded to an Art Department or individual Art Department member who champions environmental sustainability in their work.

Down Cemetery Road’s progressive team includes Sustainability Consultant Stephanie Shires (Leverage Point Entertainment), Production Designer Paul Cross and Art Director Tom Atkins.
Production offices and set builds for the eight part thriller starring Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson, were housed at The Bottle Yard’s premium TBY2 facility – the highest scoring studio in the current BAFTA albert Studio Sustainability Standard.
The team set out to consider the whole lifecycle of every asset holistically, embracing the circular economy in Bristol and the South West and prioritising asset management innovatively.
Their approach was perfectly aligned with The Bottle Yard’s sustainability ethos, and our Green Team was proud to support with everything from waste removal and prop sales, to regional supplier lists and repurposing to local charities and community causes, and connection to our All Set West skills programme.
